OT: I'm goin' back to school!
Yup, as of January 12th, 2009, I will once again be a college student. Although this time around, it will be at a 4-year university versus the technical college where I obtained my Health Unit Coordinator certificate.
Oh, and Linda? (sorry I don't remember your username!), I'll be in your COMM171 class second session!!
I'm taking 11 credits, 4 classes(2 in-classroom, 2 online), and I cannot wait! Already have notebooks, a new bookbag, highlighters, pens and pencils waiting to be christened in my closet.
Anyone else here go to Metropolitan State University in St. Paul? I love the campus so far.
And come another year to year & 3/4, I will have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Writing! Here are a few examples of what I can do with this major after graduation:
Students who pursue the professional writing track can explore a range of career opportunities. Relevant fields include editing, publishing, journalism, public relations, grant writing, employee communications, script writing, Web content development, community relations, marketing communications and speech writing.
Pretty nifty, eh? So, for this weekend, I am going to do as much research on jobs in this field, but in general I'm staying my arse INSIDE because this craptastical weather makes my leg hurt even more.
