As the alternative to the Depot today we had quite a nice group of people!!  We welcomed 2 new people, Anna and Bob- hopefully they will continue to join us!

I can't say enough about the support I receive from the people at coffee each week.  It is something I look forward to, and hope that I can pay forward to more people as they join in the fun.

See you next week in Eagan!!

It is a good group of folks that meet, in all stages of the journey.  I have to confess that seeing people as they move along keeps me grounded and reminds me of when I am being a "bad" girl!   Even at 2 years out, I need support and look forward to coffee, even when we don't talk about WLS.

A big thumbs up to Reenie, who is keeping up her exercise You go, girl!!!!

Thanks Linda=  The exercise thing is going well- still a daily challenge, but whatever it takes to get healthy!!

Linda anne- we missed you terribly  hopefully we will see you soon- you bring so much energy and fun to our coffee meetings.  If all else fails we will have to come down to IGH and just meet you where you are at!!

Thank you all for being so welcoming this morning. Being able to talk to you all and hear your stories made a world of difference for me stress and fear wise. I talked to my best friend later in the day and she said it was the calmest she's heard me in the last month.

One of my friends is about 2 months post-op and she is helpful but it is great to be able to talk with people who are further out and doing well.

I'm a bit of a talker so thank you all for your patience and listening. And I haven't laughed that much in so long!

(I'm pre-op so you definitely don't have to be post-op!)

I am so looking forward to next week in Eagan. Now I know why people are so excited for the coffees.

Oh, and Tammy, I grabbed my mom's sewing machine when I was at my dad's yesterday.

I'll just leave it in the trunk so if you are at Eagan next weekend, you can take a look at it.
