Fatigue Post-Op

One of my friends and co-workers had her surgery on Sept. 2. She says when she is losing weight she is so tired she can barely do anything and when she plateaus, she has energy again.

Is this a universal phenomenon?

Trying to get an idea of what things will be like the first few months.

that does not happen to me very often- perhaps it is what she eats - I get tired when I am not getting enough calories in for the day or enough protein and I don't take my vitamins.  so if i do what i am supposed to do I feel great! 

When I was early out I would have days when my arms & legs felt so heavy with fatigue.  I wasn't due for labs until 6 mos. so on my own I upped my iron and have felt great ever since.
