of Social Work Service Coordinator OR Long-Term Care Screen Specialist with the Community Care of Central WI. WAH!!! 
I don't know what makes me feel worse--the news or the blueberry crepes I just ate.
I told the woman who phoned she could tell the other persons involved with hiring that they could add my name to the lists for these positions for the cities of Wisconsin Rapids and Marshfield. But I'm NOT holding my breath. 
I guess I'll be checking out the (Social Work) Masters program at the university here.

OH NUTS! I am sorry Sweetheart! I was a bit selfish in wanting you to get those jobs as you'd be closer....*sigh*. Keep believeing that God has that perfect job for you~ it's there and it will be in HIS perfect timing!

I'm not giving up my belief that God DOES have SOMETHING for me--somewhere. I'm just getting a little weary of this game. And if there are lessons to be learned--wish He'd tell me which book to study.

I guess where I went wrong is hanging my hopes on those jobs--like the Alzheimer one or these two, instead of pursuing other leads. Good lesson here, though--keep on keeping on!

I'm in the same predicament now. I graduated last December with a degree in Health Information Technology and I'm running into the brick wall of places wanting someone with experience. Helloo???? How do you get it without getting a job??? I'm working temp right now in the field, but I need to snag that permanent job in the next few months to get bennies and quit paying COBRA. I love where I'm working and who I'm working with (the supervisor is the best I've ever had!), but they don't have any openings right now. Maybe if we cross our fingers for each other??

It sucks not having experience. That's the reason I was given for not getting the job with the Alzheimer Society. A real 'Catch 22', eh? (I met the guy who got the job, at the 'Palliative Care Institute' I was working at last week--and he sure did not have much over me in people skills. But that's my humble opinion!)
Anyway--I wish you the best, and hope and will pray that you get the job you deserve!
