Winter Motivation

Hi all,
I am having a hard time getting my butt to the gym when it's cold out. The sad part is, that it just started getting cold.

Anyone have any tricks or tips to getting to the gym when it's frigid out there? Any suggestions would be helpful!

Girl.... you and me.... you and me both.... I can't get my butt moving at ANY TIME.

Here's one piece of advice that a runner friend gave me -- it sounds silly but it works....

She told me to go to bed in my workout clothes... that way, when you wake up, you are more motivated to go... and further more you won't want to endure the shame of actually taking the clothes off and knowing you did a naughty thing, lol. :)

2019: 11 years out and maintaining a loss of 150lbs.

I hear you! But, for me getting to the gym seems to be a daily issue and not a weather issue! Not my favorite thing to do.  I have really started to enjoying the biggest loser DVD workouts that I can do at home in the comfort of my own living room. So if its just too cold I guess it does not hurt to have an alternative plan that you can do at home. Just a thought!!
