Wednesday Coffee Talk

Good Wednesday morning everyone!  Time to rise and shine.  It's going to be a wonderful day!  I can just feel it in the air.  Did you sleep good?  We sure did.  I think I only woke up once during the night.

Our challenge today is to be like the palm tree.  When the winds come, hurricanes come and even tornadoes, the palm tree never breaks.  It may bend and even touch the ground, but it never breaks.  It bounces back.  For a few days, it may show signs of where it had to bend, but within a week or so, it is back to normal.  In life's storms that you face, you will have to bend and even touch the bottom sometimes.  But let me challenge you today to not break.  You my friend can stand.  You can bounce back and be like that palm tree......STANDING TALL.  When the smoke of life's battles clear away, you will be standing tall.  I KNOW it.  I have faith in YOU!

So, who's up this morning?  What cha sipping on?  Me?  I'm loving me some regular old joe.  It is so good.  Sometimes, the plain on joe hits the spot don't it?

You ALL have a standing tall day.  I know you can bounce back and you will be fine!  Be blessed!

Morning Randall and Lucy!

Unfortunately, I have yet to go to sleep for the "night", I'm trying my hardest but did a stupid thing(that wasn't known it was stupid until the damage was done). I took one of my new pain pills for my leg along with a Zyrtec(for seasonal allergies). Apparently this is a big no-no, which I found out when I began to get all hyper and stuff. Quite interesting to watch a 31-year-old woman cleaning up her room at 5:00am

It's supposed to wear off within 4 hours, which would be... soon. I don't wor****il 11pm tonight, so I do have all day to sleep. It will be a welcome gesture, that's for darn sure.

So, in the meantime, I'm sipping on a glass of skim milk with SF chocolate sauce mixed in.

Send some of that warm Alabama weather our way, please? We got our first dusting of snow last night, snow that actually hung around. Hopefully the roads aren't that bad, as that's the part about winter I despise most. Scares the living daylights out of me to drive on icy roads!!

Randy,

Yep I am a palm tree.....I didn't used to be, but in the last year I have become one in that I may have a bad day or two, but then I am back to normal!  I have learned that the Lord gives us challenges in life to help us grow.  I realized earlier this year that all of the darkness and suffering in my past was give to me so that I could better help others who are struggling.

I am not sure if you & Lucy have had a chance to see the makeover show of Kelly F & I, but here is the link: www.twincitieslive.com then click on the tab for monday and it is the first two segments.

I hope all is going well and boy do I wish I were down there with the weather we are having here this week.

Hugs!
Nicole

Good morning Mr and Mrs C!  I am SO BLESSED!  I type as my palm tree self has been and remains standing tall against yesterday's tornadoes, cyclones, and hurricanes. What a miracle that some plant life looks so fragile, so vulnerable, though withstand the tempests with unwavering, solid faith and positive attitude from our Mighty Fortress.
When the winds come, hurricanes come and even tornadoes, the palm tree never breaks.  It may bend and even touch the ground, but it never breaks.  It bounces back.   Hallelujah and Amen!

Many blessings and happiness right back to you!  Hugs, Patti
