OT: Love Being An Auntie
My niece, Hannah, will be 14 months old next week. How the time flies! She's almost walking--right now she is standing without any help, but the rest of the time she scoots around on her little tushie, lol!
Anyhoo, my brother-in-law's brother, an amateur photographer(although he could certainly make a career out of this), came to their house on Sunday and took some pictures of Hannah. We got the link and pictures tonight. And I HAD to share this one with you all.

The kitty is their 12-year-old named Pippen :)
Sorry if it screws up anyone's screen resolution, but I couldn't bear to resize the utter cuteness!

Too precious! The great thing about nieces/nephews is having them overnight from ages 18 months up to about nine when they begin to prefer their friends...spoil 'em rotten, keep 'em up late, and ensure they're crabby the moment the parents see them. I call that a job well done!?!!! (actually only happened occasionally, though sporadically mentioned in good humor at family functions! And the kids remember: midnight trips through drive-thru to their fast-food choice, once with the little dog's head out the window, ears flapping in the wind. Catching fireflies, 'saving' in mayonnaise jars (with holes poked in lids); spending all-day unlimited rides at ValleyFair or what's now Nickelodeon Park at MOA, there's tons to do, they're so easy to please when getting 'spoiled' by auntie--and being a single auntie has been the best, because of sheer freedom. Enjoy--they just grow up too fast (my eldest--nephew--just turned 35!)
Never let your memories be greater than your dreams.
