Hi Anna.  If things don't work out, perhaps you could look into Park Nicollet's bariatric program?  Probably too late, but besides having a top notch practice - they do a very good job working with all of the insurance companies to get approval; they have close relationships with the Authorization departments of all of the big carriers. This was one of the main reasons I opted to have my WLS at Park Nicollet.  I was approved in about 3 days - once I was submitted.  I just had to go thru 7 months of nutrition counseling because Park Nicollet knew that was what my insurance company was looking for.  Good luck with your WLS!
