strange question...

I've been noticing more people wearing corderoy (sp?) lately...  I don't think I've worn corderoy pants since I was in Jr. High, and I've been pondering finding a pair.  I'm thrilled every day that my thighs have gone their separate ways, so I'm pretty sure I wouldn't start a fire, but - where the heck do you find corderoy pants???  I'm SOOOO not a shopper, I just don't even have a clue.  I LIVE in jeans and jammie pants, with the occasional dress-wearing occasion popping up to throw me out of my element.

Any clues?  I'm pretty much a 16, size-wise (although I AM wearing my 1% spandex size 14's from Avenue today!! ), so I can still shop plus-size - I really haven't tried many "regular" stores yet...

Oh my goodness yes they are back.. I too could not wear them for fear of starting the infamous fire.. Nice analogy Darla.. I think that I have seen them in Walmart when I was shopping with my daughter. Or maybe it was Target. I am not sure but those are really the only places I shop. I remember thinking OMG they are back to haunt me.

'corduroy'

Sorry--couldn't resist!  And CONGRATS on shrinking into such teeny sizes!  A year ago did you ever dream of size 14s??

But back to the topic--where to get corduroy pants. Hmmmm. The only place I can afford is ValueVillage or the Sally Ann.   But they're trendy enough that you could probably find some cords there!  Good luck in  your hunt!

I've bought corderoy pants at Lane Bryant and I think I've bought them at Target before too.   I'm sure stores like JC Pennys or Sears also would have some.

Darla,

I've seen cords @ JC Penneys and Kohls.  But, I would also check the thrift store, I got a pair there just recently.

Take Care,

Erika

Wearing my wide wale cords today that haven't fit in forever.  Felt great to find these and be able to wear them.  They are warm when it is cold out!
