Finally a NSV
I am 9 months out and haven't had many victories of any sort since surgery. So, I went shopping last night for a sweatshirt. I went to the mens section as I always do and bought an XXL sweatshirt without trying it on and went home. When I got home I tried the shirt on and I actually looked like a potato sack. The sweatshirt was huge on me. I went to the store today to exchange it and I ended up needing a Large. I have never bought a shirt without an "X" somewhere in the size before. I was so excited that I think I am going to have a casual day at work tomorrow just so I can wear the sweatshirt! I am so excited!
Thanks for letting me share!

Crystal -- that is so awesome! I am glad you are sharing this NSV -- it's a huge deal to grasp on to these along the way - and they also inspire everyone else!! What a great feeling to not get an X-something. :)
AWESOME
...keep rockin that Band
....just think it gets even better from here on out

You are what you EAT and WHO you hang out with! Choices=Outcome~ what's YOUR choice??
I'm not perfect but I am going to die trying!!!
Crystal, I'd be willing to bet you've had more victories than you give yourself credit for! They aren't always on the scale or even in our clothes... Sometimes, it's just a matter of recognizing that you are changing your relationship with food! Have a handful of Fritos instead of half a bag? YAY!!!! NSV!!!! Choose an apple instead of a bowl of ice cream with chocolate sauce? WOO HOO!!!
It's all good, as long as that scale is moving in the right direction! Share away - you might start to recognize MORE NSV's you didn't even acknowledge before!
