sad sad sad
I got a phone call late sunday night which i did not get until monday morning my dad had 3 more heart attacks sunday night. Jer and I went to Fargo monday first thing and I am going back up thurs and I think we will be shutting machines off...... My dad is no longer with us the way it is the only thing keeping him alive is the machine he has so much brain damage........ I am so sad, and it hurts so bad......Thank you everyone for the phone calls, emails and support....... I will never forget you guys

Sending hugs and hope that you can get throught the horrible pain of letting go. When the person we love is no longer that person, just the body there not the love and personality that you love, letting them go is the best for all. I do not say these things lightly, I have been there and I know exactly how you feel. Just remember, you will always have your memories, love, pictures and you know that your DAD knows you did the best for him.

I am so sorry. I will pray for you and your family. I did home care for many years and saw families go through this and I had to watch both a grandma and grandfather go like this as well. I would never wi**** on anyone but I know you were able to say your goodbyes and hopefully he is at peace because that will help you be at peace as well. Hugs!!
I am so sorry Marsha!! I can only imagine how painful this time is for you. All I can say is this too will pass... and the strong love you have for your dad is the reason you feel so deeply. Cherish that love and I am sure he cherished it too!
