Thanks, Sandy!
Hey--if you guys want to make the  journey to SunLand--you're welcome to visit!
I think half of Tucson in the winter is made up of Canadian Snow Birds.  That's when the traffic slows down to molasses in Canadian Janu
ary.

Sue,

Sounds like you've gotten some great advice.   What a wonderful offer your sister has given you.    Is this the sister I met when you had surgery?    I remember her being so very sweet.   It was great to sit and visit with her.   Hey if nothing else we might have to all make a trip to AZ to see you instead of the frozen Tundra!!   I will keep you in my prayers so that you can make a decision and be at peace with whatever you choose to do.

Good morning, Michelle~
The positive responses here have been instrumental in my decision.

The sister who is my life support is the same one who sat with  you when I had my surgery.  She is an amazing person--got her masters and PhD as a single mom!  Right now she is studying for the pre-medical school exam in  March.  She says if she does not do the medical school gig now she never will--and has always wanted to!!  Will study to be a psychiatrist and can practice that even way past retirement age.

Hope to be able to connect with you Duluth folks on the way through!

Sue- I agree it's time to take your sis up on her offer. You need to do what's best for you. I'm so sorry that times are so tough for you right now. I wish there were something I could do to make things better for you. I will continue to keep you in my prayers!

Hugs,
Lori

Thank you, Lori!
Your prayerful support was been so wonderful!  I so appreciate you!
One of my top desires was to get a job in the Mpls area, but that did not pan out. Guess that was not quite what God wanted..

I am giving Tucson 6 months. I have that time frame before my provincial health care is dropped. And by then I should have a better idea of where I really want to be. I will need also to do something with all the stuff I am putting in storage, which is not cheap. Makes me feel like I'm not falling completely off the face of the earth!

If possible, please make a note on your calendar for Dec 12 OR 13, as that's when we'll be heading on through the area. Don't have a definite agenda set up yet.

Sue,

Well I finally was able to read your post, DARN COMPUTERS!!   But, seriously as we had discussed earlier, I feel this is a BLESSING.

I am happy that I will be able to see you this weekend.
I definately agree with Michelle... we should plan a trip to see our Sweet Sue of course, once you get settled.

Take Care,

Erika

Hey Erika!
Computers--ya either love 'em or hate 'em!  Good thing you don't  need to understand them to use them--sort of like driving a car!

I'm so sorry that you're not able to come up here this weekend to the Frozen North. It would have been awesome to show you around town and do those touristy things reserved for company!

Sure am hoping to connect with you on the way through!

It sounds like you have your MIL & FIL blessing.  Your sister sounds like a saint.  And with winter looming......my only thought when reading this was.... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!

Give yourselft a timeline if it makes you feel better.  Pack it all up, store it on a 6 month lease.  In 5 months....re-evaluate!  In the warmth of arizona everything will look better!

Your family is being so wonderful...let them help you!  You never know what it might lead to and someday they may need you just as much.

Hey Tina~
Thanks for your kind words. You're one pretty intuitive chick!

I am going--with a 6-month time-frame. ((Good suggestion!))  I should have a pretty good idea where and what I should be doing. Also my provincial health progam would be canceled after 6 months of being out of country--and I  don't want that to happen!  I also don't want to be paying the rediculous storge fees for longer than I have to!

And yup--my sister is wonderfu!
