Got big plans for the weekend...? Tonight I get to work at TJ's. I dont wor****il 6pm so I should be able to sneak in a little power nap.. YaY..!! As much as I wanted to go to coffee, I was asked to watch the nephews tomorrow am. If I get a wild hair I will bring them along.. Sunday will be work, church, football and veg'n..
Whats on store for your weekend? A little Christmas shopping maybe..? Other than the Fran Tarkenton jersey we got for mom, I havent done any shopping. Our families are not too big into gift giving and thats ok.. we more enjoy spending time with each other.. Still like to get a little something for the wee ones though..

Lucy and I are going on a date tonight. Olive Garden and then to Starbuck's! WOO HOO! All thanks to my SP's wedding gift!
Tomorrow, we are giving out (our church) 40 boxes full of Turkeys canned goods and the trimmings for Thanksgiving Dinner to some needy families in our community. I love doing this type stuff!

Yes TGIF indeed!! Not a short week here for me but soooo looking forward to that short week next week. No big plans for this weekend. My husband is going to a football game tomorrow so Sadie and I will be hanging out together. I am thinking nap for her and some good old r&r for momma. I've been thinking about getting a start on some holiday baking though too so who knows. Sunday is church it's installation Sun for our new pastor and my husband and I are taking a part in the service. Should be a fun day!

Thank you for the wishes and thinking of him! Everything is going along fairly smoothly so far. He has 4 more months of dietician appts to go to before he can really do much. He goes in Mon morning to go over the results of his psych eval. We're hoping maybe May or June he'll actually have the surgery.

Okay--what exactly does 'get a wild hair' mean? I've heard others use that expression and am puzzled by it.
You might have sussed out from my postings here that I AM leaving Thunder Bay for Tucson. Making the decision was scary but God has given me a peace about it. What has been a real blessing is that little chunks of money have been appearing that have been allowing me to pay various bills that I was quite in arrears with. I was given an honorarium for speaking at a hospice class. I had a savings bond I wasn't aware of showed up. Just little things like that--and of course getting a 'loan' on my future inheritance from my mother's estate has been the biggest source of $. Without it I would not be able to get my car repaired--and go traveling.
ANYWAY--I will be traveling through Mpls sometime on the 12th or 13th. I have not decided on my traveling agenda yet. So--will we be able to connect? This is sorta the last chance kinda thing...

Well, today I'm going to the Middle School to confront a couple of issues that have been really upsetting Travis this week. I'm glad I have enough balls to NOT let these things get swept under a rug (I wrote about it in my profile).
Today is Bailey's 16th birthday!! And tonight is her party - so I'm sure we'll be kept hopping. I wasn't planning to go to coffee in the morning, but Rich told me he's FINE playing short-order cook for all of Bailey's over-night guests
... (he's a brave man. Actually, I think he ENJOYS doing that!) So maybe I will venture out? I could also use the time to get more Christmas shopping out of the way!!!
