Monday Coffee Talk

Good Monday morning everyone!  Time to rise and shine.  Lucy and I slept late.  I had to wake her at 1:25 because my blood sugar bottomed out and I couldn't even walk w/o staggering.  HAHA!  She gave me juice and it came up to 135 and back to sleep we went.  I hope you slept good.

Our challenge for today is to think on good things.  THings that are pure, things that are right, things that are positive.  If you think on these things, you will train your mind to accept these things and not negative or wrong.  Thinking on good things will make your world better.  Too many times, we focus on the bad, the negative, the ugly.  Lets begin to train our minds to think on good things.  Why not!

So, whos up this morning?  What cha sipping on?  Me?  I'm loving some awesome Peppermint Mocha.  This stuff is so good!

I better go get my baby's coffee ready and her bagel so she can get out the door.  Y'all have a great Monday!

What a great challenge!!  I needed this one after the tough week I had.  I have been not thinking of the positive in my life~  This challenge reminds me of Phil. 4:8 the verse my Grandma(who I look like) gave to me before she went to be with Jesus.
Thanks Randall!

Hope you can get your blood sugars to level out, Randy - those extremes are pretty scary!

I always try to see the positive in every situation - sometimes it's simple, sometimes it seems impossible.  But there IS good and positive in almost everything life hands us, even if it's just that we learned something...  We just have to choose to look for and recognize it!

Hope Lucy's job is still going well and you two are continuing to bask in your newlywed glow!!!

Randy,

Thank you for this reminder, although I must admit I have for the most part just been thinking about the wonderful thing the Lord has brought into my life....a wonderful boyfriend who I absolutely adore and love and who shares the same with me.  We are trying to take things slow, but neither of us can help but think of our future in terms of "we".  I will work to remain positive today as I may not get to see him due to class and as we approach the holiday in the hopes that his ex will not cause issues.

You are right that we need to condition our minds to think and believe the positive thoughts and good things in our life.

I am glad that Lucy was able to get your blood sugars back up last night, that must have been a bit scary to have them bottom out like that.

I am sipping on some crystal light natural citrus focus this morning in an attempt to try and catch up on my water as this weekend I sort of let that fall behind.

I hope you have a wonderful Monday!

Hugs!
Nicole
