Some WOW moments from this weekend
I just wanted to share some wow moments from my wonderful weekend with my sweetie! Saturday night we went to a party hosted by his motorcycle club and I was introduced to everyone I have to admit that I have never received quite so many compliments in one night and I was called tiny on a couple of occassions, plus one guy told my bf that he had best hold on to me or he might try and steal me away....very big compliment to me since the guy was very nice looking! I can honestly say that Saturday night I felt pretty and special, I have to admit that it was really nice to be shown off to people.
Then yesterday since it was rather nice out we took out the bike for one last ride (well my first ride) before winter and I have to admit I am hooked! I absolutely loved it and I felt comfortable on the back of his bike, whereas a year ago I would have never gone near it. I so cannot wait until next spring when we can ride....and he told me that if I really like riding we can get me my own!
A couple of other major wow moments for me, I sat on his lap I have never sat on anyone's lap except for maybe Santa 20 years ago. Also he litterally picked me up and carried me! I was in shock and was a little nervous that he might drop me or that I was too heavy for him, but I was absolutely amazed that someone could lift me like that.
Is all I have is that a year ago today I was starting my liquid diet 10 days prior to surgery and I would have never imagined in a million years that I would be where I am today. I am so blessed to have great friends and to be given a second chance at life.

I can just see you as a 'biker chick'--tattoos and leather chaps--and yup--on your own Hog!
I truly am sooo happy for you, that you are getting respect and love and all those good things you DESERVE!!
Warm?? Me, warm?? That comes and goes, depending on the folks downstairs, who control the thermostat! Good thing they have a toddler, so they do keep the heat around 70*. I am just wondering how I will acclimatize to the Arizona desert weather.
Me--with the thickened Canadian blood! It might just kill me!! "But at least it's a DRY HEAT!!" So they say...I'm giving Arizona 6 months--and if I don't like it I can come back--hopefully with social work experience behind me. At least I have a back-up--my bestest sister!

No chaps are necessary because it is a sports bike, he also has a cruiser, but he prefers his sports bike and rides that most frequently. I have to admit that I loved the feeling on it almost like I was flying and we didn't even go onto the freeway!

Nicole,As I've said in my e-mails, I'm so happy for you....These are wonderful "WOW" moments....And you will be having plenty more I'm sure......
You so deserve this happiness.......Your a wonderful caring person, I knew someday there would be a Prince Charming, and here he is.........
I can't wait to meet him.......Hopefully before Dec. 27th.........

Thank you, yes I truely feel as though my Prince Charming has arrived, although he is so humble he would not admit that!
Yes I really hope you guys can meet before the 27th as well....maybe we could do a coffee get together some weeknight in MG.
