ACCOUNTABILITY

I know, I picked a heckuva day to decide to be accountable again, didn't I?  Between the surgeries and the meds I've managed to regain about 30 (yes 30) lbs now.  I'm putting this out here so that it's not my nasty little secret and I have to feel ashamed.  It happens.  What will really matter, though, is turning it around.
So I added a ticker - check it out - was actually surprised to see how far I really have come.  I'd forgotten.
And for all you computer savvy peeps out there  -  WHEN I LOSE SOME OF THIS REGAIN - how do I move the ticker?
That's about it for now.  I will be back.

You are right on with everything you stated in your post!  You should really be proud of yourself for how far you have come.  I think in "setbacks" we tend to forget that.  I can relate to being accountable and ashamed too.  I'm so happy for you that you're going to take the bull by the horns!

   thanks for the posting.   i plan on being at each and every coffee possible.  it amazed me - just how much i had forgotten about the early days. just listening to the newer folks recounting their experiences and how they're dealing with 'the rules' made me realize how many of the rules i had forgotten!   so, i hope to see you at coffee again soon.

I am so proud of what you have been able to accomplish given the challenges that you have been faced with!  Big hugs to you.  As far as your ticker, you should be able to go back to the site that you created it at and update it. I use Ticker Factory and am able to update immediately.  I would be happy to help you with this when the time comes. 

I hope that you have a wonerful Thanksgiving.  I am down in Iowa at my Sister's house helping her cook.  Well, okay, not right at the moment but the turkey is cooking.

  thanks for the info on the ticker and i'll give it a try - when the time comes.  and thanks for the offer for help. i never used to consider myself computer challenged, but as the upgrades continue and the applications add on, you know what they say - if you don't use the knowledge, you lose it.

Today is just as good a day as any and certainly a better choice than a day 6 months from now.  Thanksgiving is a  great  day to remember that we have many tools available to us and be thankful that 1) they are there and 2) you made the choice to use them.

We met briefly at coffee a few weeks ago. I thought you were delightful and hope to see you again soon.

   happy black friday.  i think i remember meeting you and reenie at the same eagan coffee.  hoping i'll see you there again tomorrow. and you're right.  it's better that i not wait another six months before i decide to DO SOMETHING about my choices.  had the rny done so i'd have a lifetime tool to use - now i just need to use it.
