POLL: How did you spend your Thanksgiving?
As people begin to trickle back onto the forum after the Thanksgiving feast... I thought it would be fun to share WHAT you did for Thanksgiving and perhaps HOW it went!
So... what did you end up doing and how was it?

I suppose it would be wise to answer my own post...ha....
I had a lunch Thanksgiving with my family: Mom, grandma, sister and her boyfriend, me and Greg
It was a good time with lots of yummy (Russian) food that I love, love, love. We had a good time and I was happy to see my family.
After that? At 3pm I went to work and am just leaving right now (11pm). Can't wait to get to bed!!
BTW, here's a photo from dinner (me and my sis):

Elena.....you and your sister are just beautiful...great pic!!!
Thanksgiving was relaxing and very enjoyable. Dwayne and I spent most of the morning and afternoon just enjoying each others company...watching tv and relaxing. We then went and had dinner with friends. That was fun!!
I ate turkey and about a tablespoon of stuffing and a little broccoli cheese casserole...it was great!! No desert and I didn't even care. Had my share of wine....yumo!!
You pic is just beautiful!!
Love you....hugs.....connie d

Elena-
Both you and your sister are GORGEOUS!!!
I had Thanksgiving dinner at my cousin's house. It was a very very pleasant evening with "traditional" Thanksgiving food. I hadn't seen one of the people there since my surgery and she was amazed at how I looked- which helped me to make good food choices and not overeat.
I am so thankful for the support of my family through this journey. I learned today how much of the holiday is about just hanging out with people who care- the food was totally secondary!! What a huge difference.
Hope everyone had a GREAT Turkey day!

That is a very nice picture of you two, Elena - very pretty!
Uh...this is what I did on Thanksgiving, only because I could and it's the one time per year I allow myself to indulge.

It was a great day for us. Spent most of the day at my brother-in-law's (he & his partner hosted) and then on to my sister's for dessert. It's always a lowkey day for us which we enjoy.
