I second that Linda.... no way in hell you'll see me out in those crowds! I'd rather sit in the newsroom and REPORT on those crowds, lol

Im shopping - from my laptop in my pajamas! And it gets delivered right to my door!  

We went out!   What a day!  I had about an hr and a half of sleep.   Just as I was about to go to bed Sadie woke up not feeling well.   It took me a couple of hours to get her back to sleep and then that was in my bed so there went my sleep.   I fell asleep around 1 or so and my crazy husband set his alarm for 2:15am.   Ugggghhhh   We were sitting in the Sam's Club parking lot by 3 am....nobody is there.   I looked at him and said and why are we here already???   It's all about the 42" tv he wanted and has been saving for.   We left and went to the gas station to get him some coffee and my son some gatorade.   We went back still nobody there.   We went at about ten to 4 and dropped my son off at JC Penney's then went back to Sam's.   I left hubby there in line at about 4:20 and took my son back home.   I got back to Sam's just as they were opening up.   He got his tv no problem.   We then headed to Sears for the DVD player on sale.  We came home...I dropped him and his goodies off then headed to Menards.   I turned around and went right back out there was no way I was standing in those lines to save $5.  After I took hubby to work I ran to the Menards and Target in Superior and was in and out of both of those within a half hour.   I'm now home waiting for the kids to wake up.   Sadie and I are joining daddy for lunch at work at noon.   I got most of my shopping finished up today.   Just a very few things left to go.   Hope everyone survived the crowds!

WE ALWAYS GO !!!  Love watching the idiots push their way in.  People -- if it's meant to be you'll get one.....

My hubby went to best buy and stood in line to get the paper to go back and purchase a laptop he's had his eye on (he got #11 of the 15 the store had and came home with the paper).  Then we both went to Walmart to get a new tv for the grandson, a new camera and floor vacuum for the daughter, and a mop the FIL wanted us to pick up.  Then he went back to Best Buy and bought his laptop while I went to Target to get my under the cabinet tv/dvd player I've had my eye on.  Was done with the idiots (my ankles couldn't take any more carts running into them) -- order some new dishes on line and they'll be delivered to my home (free shipping).

Now we are vegging at home until noon when we take the FIL to a V.A. appointment.  Will definitely be a low key lazy day from here on out!!!

There isn't anything I need bad enough to expose myself to that level of frenzy!!!  Albertville was open at 10 or 11pm last night, and there were TRAFFIC COPS out to handle the traffic!  It was beyond insane.... we drove by taking Bailey's BF home, and you'd think they were giving away free money - the cars were lined up as far as you could see, they had overflow parking at the St. Michael/Albertville High School with shuttle buses running to the mall....

No thank you.  

I'm working today (okay, so not at THIS particular moment...).  Like I said, there isn't anything I need bad enough....  I'm almost done shopping anyway.
