WOW moment and hilarious BEFORE photo!
Diane's post inspired me to go shopping last night to see if I have lost enough weight to POTENTIALLY fit into a pair of boots.
WELL, I know they aren't the zip-up kind but instead crochet... but still!!!
I have NEVER been able to wear boots because of my (now not-so-huge) cankles... I hope no one thinks it's silly that I celebrate these miniscule things, but I have NEVER been able to wear boots in my adult or even teen life! I almost cried when I was actually able to pull these up!!!!!! Granted... I look like I just walked out of a high school in these, but it's the FIT that counts!!!!!!!
I know the almost 20 of you that were at MG coffee already saw me in these.
Also... I was browsing through my photos from living in London this summer and found this hilarious BEFORE photo taken during a NUDE BIKERS PROTEST, lol. And those girls I am posing with? Yeah, I roomed with about five SIZE 2 girls.... boy did I feel like a blimp at my highest of 304lbs.

OMG, Elena! After Nicole and I left MG coffee, we went out to pick up a couple of things. Nicole wanted to see if she could find a pair of boots like I have (ankle high). So we went into the boot section. We both tried on what I referred to as "Hooker Boots". We were both able to put them on and zip them up all the way to the top. And I even took pictures!

WOW! I'm surrounded by boot *****s!!! I may have to see if'n I can join ya! My only boots for the past umpteen years have been my Steger Mukluks - which i LOVE, but even those I had to special order an extra 3" around the calf (partially due to scar tissue on my left shin from a bad wreck half my life ago...).
Wonder if I could do me some hooker boots?
