I was reading your profile/blog and wow, you definitely deserve this!  I just don't understand why the denial...although, I just don't understand insurance companies either!  I'm hoping to have surgery too and have already been told to be prepared for appealing.  Nice, since it hasn't even been submitted yet.     Whatever needs to be done to an animal to get you this approval, I'll do my part!

Dear Lord, please guide Amy's appeal through the insurance company with your own hands.  Help the powers-that-be see the wisdom in giving her this tool, so that she can beat her weight problem, and all the health issues that may go along with it.  Guide them to approve her appeal for DS surgery.  There is NO ONE more deserving.  YOU have felt the compassion she has poured into this quest, PLEASE let it be YOUR WILL to grant her this surgery.

This has definitely been an emotional ride for me as I've waited for the day we could have enough documentation of comorbidities to submit the 2nd appeal and then to come on here and read all of your responses...I'm speechless quite honestly!
