More on Edi & Linda's Craft She-bang
If you will be beading, bring some beads. Joann's & Michaels always have them on sale, cheap, cheap. We have the findings, unless you want something super cool, like a fancy toggle.
If you want to learn swedish weaving - you will need 2 1/2 yds of monks cloth for a throw, 1/2 yard for a pillow. You can buy Monk's cloth at Joann fabrics. Take the 40% off coupon with you! Also, you will need regular acrylic yarn. I used a varigated color and it looks cool. You can do it solid color or with different colors (prob not a good idea for beginners). Machine stitch the frayed edges of the monks cloth, then wash & dry (important). I have extra needles.
Making cards? My friend Julie is bringing her Cricut machine. She has card sized envelopes. She will bring some paper, but if you have a design in mind, bring your own supplies and use the Cricut to embelish. She also has a ton of stamps, but if you have something in mind, again, bring your own (same with ink).
Knitting - needles and yarn.
If anyone is bringing other crafts to share - let us know!
FYI - not everyone at the party has had WLS. Please don't ask someone you don't know where they are in their journey - they might not be on the road yet.
See you on Sunday!!
