CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Yeah, the gas was probably my biggest complaint post-op as well, and I think it was close to 10 days before I found I felt "normal" again
(hush, Elena...).

Walking helps most.  Gas-ex (chewables are better than the dissolving strips), laying on your left side, the attractive position you described - these will all help, but time will be your best friend. 

And just a thought... if you DO decide to go walking somewhere like Target, be sure to make plenty of laps through the candle aisle.   Just sayin...

Welcome to the Losers Bench Anna!!!  I hope you're blessed with a smooth recovery.  Just keep in mind, I'm right on the 3rd floor if you need help once you get back to work!

Welcome to the other side - the best side!  I know it's so hard the first week. I also had problems with gas. It doesn't help much to know that *someday soon* it will pass, but things will look up for you - and I hope soon!
