Children's Strange Thoughts on the Sea

1) This is a picture of an octopus. It has eight testicles. (Kelly age 6)

2) Oysters' balls are called pearls. (James age 6)

3) If you are surrounded by sea you are an island. If you don't have sea all round you, you are incontinent. (Wayne age 7)

4) Sharks are ugly and mean, and have big teeth, just like Emily Richardson. She's not my friend no more. (Kylie age 6)

5) A dolphin breaths through an azzhole on the top of its head.  (Billy age 8)

6) My uncle goes out in his boat with pots, and comes back with crabs. (Millie age 6)

7) When ships had sails, they used to use the trade winds to cross the ocean. Sometimes, when the wind didn't blow, the sailors would whistle to make the wind come. My brother said they would have been better off eating beans. (William age 7)

8) I like mermaids. They are beautiful, and I like their shiny tails. And how on earth do mermaids get pregnant? Like, really? (Helen age 6)

9) I'm not going to write about the sea. My baby brother is always screaming and being sick, my Dad keeps shouting at my Mom, and my big sister has just got pregnant, so I can't think what to write. (Amy age 6)

10) Some fish are dangerous. Jellyfish can sting. Electric eels can give you a shock. They have to live in caves under the sea where I think they have to plug themselves into chargers.
(Christopher age 7)

11) When you go swimming in the sea, it is very cold, and it makes my willy small. (Kevin age 6)

12) On holidays my Mom wen****er skiing. She fell off when she was going very fast. She says she won't do it again because water fired right up her fat ass. (Jule age 7)

Outta the mouths of babes...I thought 8, 11, and 12 were hysterical!!

Things are progressing towards the departure day of NEXT FRIDAY!!  OMG!!

Movers came yesterday and took 80% of the furniture for storage. Talk abut bare bones!! My kids likes it this way--is moving out of the 'penthouse' (3rd floor) and what WAS the dining room will be his living room, and he will take over my bedroom. He had to get rid of his queen size bed---the bachelors he's moving down into at the end of Jan. is way toooo small for such a large bed. In fact, the double futon that will be his couch might cramp his new place.

Have decided to sell my '99 Mazda Protege, and fly to Tucson. The car is old, fairly high
mileage (209,000 kms/120,000 miles) and would be a problem licensing it in AZ due to different emissions standards between Canada and US.  ((BESIDES the fact that I have NO sense of direction and might've ended up on the east coast....))  Someone will get a good deal for $3000, as my mechanic checked it out and says it's in good condition, except for a little body rust starting. ALSO doing this will allow me to leave the country with a lot of bills squared away.  ((It sucks being poor and definitely UNDERemployed!!)

SO, the bottom line is that when my car sells I will be at the mercy of a friend who buys raw coffee beans in MPLS for roasting.  I'm hoping he'll be due for another jaunt on the 11th or 12th.   I will let you know ASAP so's hopefully you'll be able to meet me for coffee!

When are you having surgery???

(((HUGS))

Wow, that's coming up quick.  Ok, so explain. Your friend is taking you to Mpls maybe next Friday, and are you flying to Tucson from here?

Surgery is on Thurs, the 11th and I think I'll be out Saturday afternoon.  Ugh!

Are you wanting/planning to meet up with some of us? If yes, and I'm out I will DEFINATELY have DH drive me to wherever you'll be so I can say HI and give you a big ole hug!  I'm so excited for your life change, I think it's going to be awesome!
