Did anyone watch House last night?

I was reading this interesting blog on the episode last night where the patient had had WLS.

If anyone watched it, was it really this insulting to WLS patients?

I was considering posting about it. Yeah, I watched it, and honestly I felt myself getting defensive when it came out. It was revealed that this fitness icon lady had had gastric bypass. House was an ass to her, like he was to everyone else. They kind of attacked her for it, called her a cheater, etc. but objectively, it was more to the fact that she had the surgery and then tried to get people healthy by diet and exercise (which did not work for her.) and the deception was more of an issue than the surgery.

But yeah. I was kinda defensive about the whole thing.

Yeap, I watched it.  I love House.  I was insulted by the episode, but it is just TV anyway.  One of the assistant Dr. (can't remember the name) was the one that really had the problem with it.  I agree with the previous poster that the deception was the issue rather than the WLS. 

I watched it (well, listened to it).  I think the bigger issue was the fact that not only was she a "fitness guru" who had made money off here fitness DVD's but that she LIED to the medical professionals who were trying to help her.  Yes, they were not very nice to her- but what doctor is pleasant when a patient lies like that??
There was an interesting thread on the Main Board about whether or not people would reverse their surgery if they were diagnosed with a disorder like she was.  Worth taking a look at.

It won't make me stop watching the show!!
