The Biopsy result is.......

INCONCLUSIVE.  The doctor called me at about 10:30 this morning.  He explained that the type of cells that were found on my bipsy could not be differentiated.  This means that they still don't know if the nodule is cancerous or not.

I will be having surgery to remove the nodule (and potentially the whole gland) hopefully over Christmas vacation.  It sounds like it is not an emergency, have it done tomorrow or else, type thing.  The good news is that I will hopefully have Dr. Kelly (my bariatric surgeon) perform this one too.

Thank you everytone for your good thoughts and prayers- I truly appreciate them.

Even though you must have surgery, it does sound good that it was not glaringly positive.  I hope you make it to coffee on Saturday and can corner Edi about her surgery.  Hers was cancerous and everything is just fine.  You will be, too!!!!

Nice to have a doctor that gives you news in a timely manner!  Also, will be good to have Dr. Kelly perform this next one.  You'll have to keep us posted on your surgery date.

Sorry you are having medical problems~ I CAN relate!  I am glad tho, for you, that the results were not positive!  Best to you and keep us posted!
