OT: Birthday present from my work..

Don't worry about it Teri and I wanted to say THANK YOU so much for telling me... I wouldn't have even known!! I would have missed the meeting tomorrow and everything else... so thank you!

We still need people to tell us how bad things are, they can't collapse totally.  And you write and produce and handle website stuff...I can't imagine you will be layed off.  I'm totally praying for you...it couldn't happen to anyone nicer if it does.  It will be THEIR loss if it does, and it will turn into a TOTAL POSITIVE for you...somehow!  Hang in there!

Hope you had a very Happy Birthday (other than hearing about layoffs at work)!!  Just think of all the great things that have happened to you this year.
KSTP would be NUTS if they laid you off!!  As you told me, they only have 2 people doing their web site and like someone else said- you have won 4 Emmy's for the station.  Please be sure to keep us all posted!

Sweetie, you KNOW I'm praying for you.  This economy is just insane...  it'****ting too many people too close to home.

I agree that KSTP would be absolutely STUPID to let YOU go.  But IF that happens, we'll all pray that much harder, and have faith that there is a plan for you greater than what KSTP has to offer.  Maybe in Duluth, who knows?

I agree with Paul.....If they lay you off, you will find something better......You won a few Emmy's for Gosh sakes.....That's got to look good on a resume.......

UGH...I thought of you last night when I heard it on the news - I dismissed it right away thining, how could you get laid off...there's only two of you running their website - they can't do it with just one person - CAN THEY???

Anyway, you've already been to your meeting..I really hope the layoff doesn't affect you!!!  Finger, toes and eyes are crossed and saying a little prayer for you!
