OT Craft Party/Cold

I'm bummed...I can't make Edi & Linda's craft party.      I've been nursing a cold this week and still have a sore throat, stuffy nose and cough.  I'm kinda in a fog from taking stuff and am pretty tired.  I don't wanna to make anyone else sick, either.

Does anyone have any suggestions for something to take that will get rid of this blasted stuffy nose???  My nose is "beginning to look a lot like Rudolph!"     The stuff I've been taking has helped some; I probably just have to wait this one out.  It's the worst cold I've had in a long time.  (It's one of the leftovers from Thanksgiving and my 3-yr-old grand-niece Isabelle.)

Have fun crafting, everyone!  I'm off to .

I use and LOVE Afrin.... it burns going down, but it'll clear out your nose for twelve hours. The new spray stuff doesn't seem to work as well as the stuff that you tilt you head back with and do several drops.

Otherwise I take liquid Tylenol for cold symptoms.

Thanks, Elena.  I'm gonna head out and see what else I can find.  I can't afford to miss work as I'm temping - no work, no pay!

I got some Cold-Eeze to suck on and some generic Afrin (Target brand - same formula & cheaper).  It seemed to work at first, but I'm a little stuffed up again.  I'm gonna take it again in the morning before work.  My ears get a little plugged up now, too.  And then there's the occasional hacking cough....      I should be fine at work tomorrow.  At least I'm in a job where I don't have to answer the phone or deal with the public.

I too am sorry I couldn't make it. My daughter's call decided to stop heating and I went with her to Pep Boys to get it fixed thinking a thermostat wouldn't take very long. We ended up calling my DH to come get us when they told us it would take a few hours to fix. Oh well, gave me time to work on getting the tree up and trimmed this afternoon.
