Back home

They released me from the hospital around 6:00 last night. I did have an ulcer and they have put me on carafate for three weeks and prilosec for three months. The reason I got so dehydrated was that whenever I drank anything my stomach would cramp up so bad. The fluids have been going down better hopefully this is the one and only stumbling block for now. As far as the low heart rate they took me off my medication that I was on for A fib. this should improve in the next month.

Oh man, TIM!!!  I was really shook up to read the post!!!  (I'm assuming your wife made that for you?)

I'm glad you're home, 'cuz there really IS no place like home.  Glad they figured out what was wrong and have a plan to fix you up - Uff Da!!!  Sending you prayers and hugs for healing.

Question is, did the subject of - uh.... "caffeine intake" - ever come up?  I mean, Caribou DOES have a decaf, I'm sure...  (this Saturday, MG Byerly's.... just sayin'...)

I'm glad to hear you are back at home.  Nothing worse than having to stay in the uncomfortable beds at the hospital when you feel like crap.  I'm glad you were able to get it under control rather quickly.

Take it easy!  See you soon!

Glad you are back home Tim and that it wasn't anything more. Not that an ulcer isn't bad enough because it is.

Happy Healing!!

Glad you are on the mend! I had the EXACT same thing happen to me in October, so I feel your pain! Keep on taking the meds, they helped me so much. You'll be feeling better in no time!

Heidi
