Well....HAPPY FRIDAY....!!!

I kinda think its been a long week... but TGIF my friends!!  WoooHooo!

It didnt start out so great..  If you didnt know I took a spill and TJ's last Sunday.  Stepped off a stepstool wrong and came down pretty hard, twisting my ankle.  I tried to play big girl and rub a little dirt on it and move along but I had to give in.  Went in for an xray and no break, just a bad sprain.  SO.. the Doc has written me off work from TJ's for 2 weeks..  I am so bummed about this as I know they were tight on coverage already.  Seem to be healing well.  As long as I ace it and not turn or twist in ways one shouldnt, its all good.

The gals in the office have been sick with the crud and I fear I have contracted it..  TODAY is a new day and I pray that the zinc and tea and preventative meds help deter this nasty bug going around..

So whats on store for your weekend?  Today at work I will probably sit on the puter and get our hams ordered for customers.  I think my list is complete but bossman needs to approve it.  Have no plans for the evening and plan to lay low and try to NOT get sick.

Saturday.. I was thinking about going to see grampy but with the feeling of something coming on I should not expose that to him.  I think Randy and I will head down next Saturday if it works out.  IF I awake and I am not dying, I will be making a run out to MG coffee..

Sunday ~ Church, Nap, Football...  In that order...

OH Dana I hope this crud doesn't hit you full force.   I've been out of work for 2 days now and I never call in sick.   It's been well over a yr since I have called in.   I'm feeling a bit better this morning but still not good at all.   My son woke up with it and is back in bed for the day.   Sadie had it a little over a week ago and my hubby has been battling it with me this week.  Hopefully it's done at our house so we'll all be healthy for Christmas.   I'm off wor****il Tues at least so I should be ready to go again by then.  We have a Christmas party we're supposed to go to tonight at our church for the leadership team which I am on.   If I'm feeling better we'll be heading there.   I hope I'm better tomorrow as it's my husband's grandpa's 93rd birthday tomorrow and we were planning on going to his party.  We have a lot of shopping to get done this weekend as well.   Also UMD Bulldogs play the championship game at 11 tomorrow so we'll be glued to the tv for that game.  Sunday am is church then at 3 pm is a Christmas program at church.   After that I really need to get my butt in the kitchen to do some baking.   Thankfully I can't eat it any more but I'm using it as an extra little something for a few people's gifts.   Monday on my day off I plan to do more baking, wrap gifts, and take Sadie to have lunch with daddy at work.   Wow I think I need a nap after just typing all that LOL!!

This has been a very long week...TGIF!!!!

I need to get my Christmas cards finished and sent out today....I am sooooo behind this year!! I don't even have all my shopping done yet and I am leaving for Iowa next week!!

How about those Vikes....wooohooo. I was thinking of you last Sunday when I was doing the happy dance!!

Well, if you wake up and end up not heading to MG coffee, let me know.  I know I won't make it there tomorrow.  I'll be out late tonight.  But since we are sort of neighbors, we could meet somewhere locally over the weekend for coffee.  Then we can sleep in a bit.

Hey there ~  If I were to answer right now I would say I am not going anywhere this weekend..  Been increasingly feeling like crap this morning and trying my hardest to stay positive that I wont get sick..  If you dont hear from me you will know why.

Not too much on the agenda this weekend, just gonna take some forced R&R at home.  Maybe watch a movie I had the family rent for me a week ago that I have yet to watch.  OF COURSE I'll be at coffee tomorrow, and I HAVE to loiter around MG until my mammo at 2:30 - no sense in driving home and then back in, right?  (Yeah, like I ever get home before 2pm anyway...)

Sunday Trav is going to Marek's bday party (YAY!), and I may ponder doing some baking after church.  Not sure why, with me not wanting to eat any, Bailey not needing any, and Rich trying to lose some weight.   But aren't we SUPPOSED TO bake this time of year? 

I'm sorry about your ankle, hon... I hope TJ's is treating it as work comp and covering your medical expense at the very least...

Tj's is being very kind about it...  I initially thought that they would make a stink as far as why I didnt say anything until 2 hours after I went home, but its all good.  I really did think I could 'walk it off' but unfortunately not..  I spoke to their claims peeps this morning and apparently I will get paid for my loss wages..  OK I am not going to complain but I certainly didnt expect to get paid for stupidity..

IF I dont see you tomorrow, I promise we must find time to get together soon..  I wanna hug you...
