Thank you so much, everyone - I will show her this thread, I know she'll be deeply moved.  She's not terribly religious, doesn't have any family or many close friends left, so this will really touch her heart.

June certainly has my thoughts and prayers. You are a great friend to help her through this. You also have my prayers to you to help you continue to help your friend through this difficult time.

Oh Darla!  I am sorry to hear this news!  I know how hard it is to watch someone you care and love about go thru this!  My prayers are with her for peace and comfort, and for you for strength, peace, and comfort.  MANY MANY prayers being said!

Your friend June has been lifted up in prayers and will continue to be lifted up. It's pretty crappy that in treatment for one major health issue another health crisis shows up. But everything will unfurl according to The Plan. May God give June, her family, and her friends a peace that passes all understanding.
