OT: A holiday miracle I have to share!

I just wanted to share an absolutely miracle that happened this past week.

My roommate's cat Muska lives at his parent's home. About 3 weeks ago, his older sister was in a 'mood' and kicked the INDOOR cat outside in the freezing temps. Muska was scratching at the front door for hours and finally gave up.

Two and a half weeks have passed and no sign of him. We have been praying, calling the pound, searching, etc.

We told one of our friends about the missing cat. The friend was driving one of his coworkers home from work one day and noticed that the coworker lived about a mile away from my roommate's parent's house... so he mentioned the missing cat.

Well, about a week ago our friend got a random call from his coworker and he said, "What does that cat look like again? I think he's in my laundry room. My parents said the cat was sitting on the front porch this morning and they brought him inside.")

It was Muska!! He was thin as a board, his ears and tail were skinned, but he was alive! We have been nursing him back to health at our place ever since. All he does is eat and sleep all day.

The sequence of events that had to happen for this miracle to occur is just... unbelievable. And we got him back the day before temps dropped to below zero and we had our first large snowfall!

I just had to share... no matter who or what you believe in.. it's just so amazing and uplifting when miracles like this happen!!!

So glad for the cat , with the temps being extreme this week he's lucky. He looks vewyyy content. Is your friend considering locking his sister out of the house
Well he's home safe.

That is truly one of those small world events!  I am so thankful that Muska is okay, but he has been through quite an ordeal.

As for the sister.....I think she should be reported for animal cruelty  Santa definitely has her on the naughty list.

Thank goodness!!!!  Now it's time to play "hide the key from the sister" -- really!!!  I hope she's in therapy cause this is a very definite BAD sign!!!

Yea, exactly! And to think she's in her late 20s... she does need serious therapy.

Poor puddy tat...   did you say he' sat your place now?  Much better care, no doubt, but if that's the case, how's EDDIE handling the new roomie???

He looks like a very beautiful cat... LOVE the color layers!  Thank heaven for his being found and returned

He is doing pretty well. The funny thing (and sad kind of).. is that 3 days ago Eddie started seizuring and vomiting (that's why I was absent from the boards the last two days)... we rushed to the ER and Xrays showed he had a bowel obstruction - a piece of chew toy in his small intestines. If he didn't pass it in a day, he would need surgery. Well, to the grace of God, he passed it yesterday!!!! Well before he did, he was so timid and in pain... at this point I realized he wanted nothing to do with playing, chasing, etc... so I let him into Greg's room to meet Muska. From that point on, he has been able to tolerate him. So far so good....

Ohhhhhh!!! Elena, I am so grateful to hear that your prayers were answered and that Muska was found! Oh my goodness...his 9 lives have definitely been tested! So glad to hear he is home safe & sound now. Give your roomie a hug for me and kiss the kitty for me, too.
Thanks for sharing!
