So we found out today that my dads company may be goin under and shutting their doors after the first of the year. If they close that would mean that my insurance will go out the window. I don't know why I would ever thing that I would actually have something positive in my life happen. I've never abtained a goal in my life ever looks like this one is goin to be slippin through my hands also. I am really hurting about other things goin on in life but you can read about that in my blog I don't want to put it all up here. But I just need LOTS of prayers I am way down in the dumps and don't se the light at the end of the tunnel

God made you with a backbone, not a wishbone. You need to trust & believe that you ARE worth more!

If your insurance goes away, there are always other options!

Keep your chin up because my experience is that there is no room in life for negativity!!!

i'm sending you lots of prayers, valerie, and a wish that things will turn around in your life.  there's about a bajillion 'sayings' that are meant to inspire and uplift, but i don't want to just spout them off to you.  you already know them.
but please don't give up on you.  diamond girl is right in that respect.  you've got other options.  most of us ran up against some bumps on our journey.  doesn't mean it won't happen, just means you'll go to plan b, or c, or d or whatever letter of the alphabet you're up to.
best of luck, girl.
the tunnel may be long, but the light is still there.
hugs

You have my thoughts and prayers for a good outcome. I agree with Amy you need to Trust and Believe that something good will happen. Negativity just brings negative outcomes. You will achieve success!! Wishing you all the best!!

Valerie:

You do have my prayers, but don't just give up.  COBRA coverage can keep your Dad's insurance going for awhile and I would guess that there are other options as well.  The other thing is that it is hard to make your way forward when you are looking back at what might have been or what happened that you can't change now.  You are young and have demonstrated the courage to move forward with WLS, so I know you can do that with other things in your life as well.  Good luck and keep us posted.

Take care,

RP
