My insurance (Health Partners) approved me for surgery. Approval only took one week after submitting. Very fast. I will get my surgery date this Friday. It will be with Dr Drew at St Josephs. Thanks everyone for sharing your journeys it really helps. I will be interested in a local support group after surgery. Ive seen that people get together at coffee shops let me know how tha would work when & where Im in south metro. Thanks

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I would highly recommend starting your coffee group addiction now - no time like the present! Plus, as a pre-op, you'll probably find yourself with TONS of questions, and there's no better place to get 'em answered!

I'm a Northern girl, myself, but I DO believe this weekend should be either Eagan or B'ville...?

Congratulations on your approval! What a relief that must be. I am pre-op and find that the Saturday morning coffees are EXTREMELY BENEFICIAL!!! The support is priceless and everyone is a wealth of knowledge too!

Congrats on your approval!! There is coffee groups every other weekend at Eagan at the Byerlys Caribou and in Burnsville Panera attached to the burnsville center. This weekend its Burnsville and the following weekend its at Eagan. Hope to see you at a coffee soon. We meet about 8:30am.
