Hi group! I'm not post yet but my RNY is scheduled for Tuesday, December 30th with Dr. Pierce at Fairview Southdale. I just got the schedule finalized today and will do the pre-op class on the 23rd. Spending New Year's Eve in the hospital, missing the party. But what a way to start the New Year!

So if you'll take a pre-person, I'd like to meet you all. I know next to nothing at this point so your advice and support will be greatly appreciated.

I have been reading the posts the past few weeks.  I am also scheduled for surgery (RNY) 12/30/08 with Dr. Pierce at Fairview Southdale.  I would love to join you for coffee and learn from everyone's experiences.  I am nervous and excited for my new life starting out in 2009.  I hope to meet some new friends tomorrow at Panera in Burnsville tomorrow.
