I GOT A JOB!!!
YEA!!!! So, I had the interview yesterday afternoon with the CFO and Billing Mgr - within 10 minutes of me walking out the door - the recruiter called and said he had already heard from them and that they 'absolutely loved me"! He shared some very specific words that the CFO shared - I was so surprised! It felt so good to hear such compliments and I haven't even shown them my actual work!
This morning they called with an offer - it was quite the cut from that which I was making most recently. I had to think about it for a little bit - called the recruiter back and said I had a minimum I absolutely had to make - he absolutely agreed and said he truly felt they came in really low. He countered on my behalf - they came back and countered just under (1%) of my counter - so I accepted!
This is a 90 day temp to hire position and they anticipate being able to give me a significant increase when I would become permanent. This will also give me the opportunity to show them exactly what I am capable of and worth!
I am so excited! So...I am off to try and find some part time work to help cover the $$ gap, make some all important calls to learn about medical/medication coverage without insurance, housing expense....
