What motivates you this holiday season?

What motivates you to stay on track toward your goal (or maintaining) this holiday season?

Is there anything specific you've pinpointed to concentrate on to get through the overindulging season? An upcoming event, vacation? A size goal?

I think it would be inspiring to know what motivates people to say 'No' to that cookie or 'No' to the extra helping of laziness. :)

Pictures of me two years ago at Christmas!!!   I'm never going there again!!!!  I've gained so much fun and life since the surgery and I want to keep on track to keep enjoying my new life!!!  I love the new me and don't want to screw it up!!!  My hubby compliments me EVERY morning on how great my new clothes look (cause last year's clothes don't fit cause I was losing) and I love it!!!!  I feel soooo much more confident.  We had family photo's taken last night for the first time in 15 years and it was soooooo fun!!!  Might be silly but it works for me.....

Good Morning Elena......

Just knowing how much healthier I feel and how much easier it is to get around. I am enjoying life so much. The happiness in my families eyes when they see how great I am doing now. They used to be sooooo concerned about my health.

I have gained so many new and wonderful friendships here since this surgery. Thank you all for being here for me!!

Love and hugs.....connie d

Elena, how exciting for smaller you to see your dadMy motivation?  Not having any problems sticking to the program--especially fitting into size six petite pants since double thigh lift two  months ago todayBoth (lately) calves and feet still massively swell, though per surgeon , it will take up to three to six more months for total recovery.  My inspiration:  size fours...bought one pair now hanging in plain view!  And it doesn't hurt, going to Vegas for five days in Feb., and Mazatlan beginning of April.....aaaaaaaaaah!  All the best to you!  Hugs, Patti
