Anyone have any suggestions for exercise DVDs that you like? If so, reply or PM me.. I need some new ones and will probably ask for them for the holidays. If you have one, tell me why you like it. :) Thanks!

I have two DVD's from the Biggest Loser show. One is a cardio program and the other a sculpting program. Sorry, I don't remember the exact titles!

What I like about them is that each DVD includes a warm-up, basic workout, two additional (read "harder") workout options and a cooldown. When you start up, you choose which parts you want to do.

So today I might go for the cardio and choose the warmup (5 min), the workout (20min), the first optional workout (10 min) and the coodown (5min). Tomorrow I might pop in the strenth training and do my own warmup, then do the first and second optional routine (20min total) and the cooldown (5min).

It really gives you the option to vary up the routine alot.

I also have a DVD from The Firm (at work right now so don't know the title). I like some of the moves better and it combines cardio with sculpting. The only thing that bugs me slightly is that the lead exercise lady

......talks in cadence
........with the music
........at all times
........sort of like
........a Stepford Wife!!

The Firm DVD's also have options to vary the routines as well.

Hope this helps. Have a great holiday!!

I have the Billy Blanks Tae Bo. They have a few different levels to work with and they are hi energy. They just are fun to do. I would be more than happy to let you try em out if you would like. I have some others Yoga, Pilates, etc.

Hi Elena, you're looking fantastic!
I like the one I have, it's Weigh****chers "Get Moving Mix" which you can buy online from weigh****chers.com. I like it because it has 5 different exercise videos you can do, each is about 20 minutes or so. They have a dance one, strength training, general aerobics, etc. It's nice because it's not the same old one every time and it's all neatly contained in one DVD. I think it's about $10.

Merry Christmas!

Heidi

Elena,

I have a wide variety of workout dvds, my favorite being the Biggest Loser Power Sculpt because you can do just a quick little workout or you can do a longer, more difficult workout depending on the day, your mood whatever.  I also have several yoga and pilates dvds from Gaiam they produce a lot of the different yoga and exercise videos.  You are more than welcome to borrow any of them if we could ever hook up sometime.  I now have a membership with my sweetie at LA Fitness so I have my own personal butt kicker to get me to workout!

Hope you can find something you enjoy!
