Have a quick minute to take advantage of the hosptial computer so thought I'd like to say hi to all of you, hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

I'm doing okay. Up walking and off many tubes, etc. Nurse says I may be home by tomorrow evening but we'll see how the puree'd stage progresses tonight. And I have to tolerate liquid pain meds first, too.

Thanks again everyone for your well wishes, it sure helps to ge through this!

Love,
Amy

Hi Amy-

I will gladly move over to make room for you on the loser's bench!  I am glad your surgery was successful and that you are up and walking around!!  I agree that there is nothing beter than being at home in your own bed and pj's with your family around you (and noone coming in every 2 hours or so to take your vitals :-))!  May 2009 be a year of good health, happiness, and realization of your dreams.

Keep on knitting!!
