New pics, a great christmas, and a wow moment.

I have just uploaded some pictures from christmas, I can't believe I actually do not mind my picture taken anymore... better yet, I don't mind LOOKING at pictures of me anymore!!!!! I had to make a quick trip to Fargo because the card I sent to my daughter to buy a baby swing for my grandson showed up... without the gift card in it. So had to stop payment on the gift card, and didn't trust the us mail to get another one there, so drove up and bought the swing myself. So there are pictures of me with my grandson David.. he is sooooooo cute!!!!!! I have also included a couple pictures of Dan and I. With everything that happened to me this year, Dan, my grandson David, and my sis in Duluth, Lori (yes our Lori on here) made what I went thru this year all worthwhile.. I have been very blessed with having these three people come into my life.

Now for the WOW moment. My mom was able to come up for christmas day, which in itself is a wow. She wears a winter coat that use to be mine... and the day of my surgrey I couldn't button. Well... I tried it on christmas day... yep I swam in it... AND both Dan and I could fit in it together... My joke now is I lost him, because I have lost as much weight as he weighs. My mom says I have lost and gained Dan. It was a real eye opener for me, and for him, gave him a perspective to just how big I was.

Great pictures!!!  And WOW  -- love the haircut!!!  When did you do that?  You never would have passed the mall test -- I would have walked right by you in the mall.

And look how little you are getting!!!!  Great job!!!  Way to work the tool baby!!!

Thank you... I have had a lot of people say I look totally different with this haircut, I have even seen friends in Rochester who I haven't seen in like 6 months or so who didn't recognize me betweeen the extra weight lost, and the haircut. I love both.

Your grandson is way adorable! Glad to hear you enjoyed your Christmas!!! Sounds like 2009 is going to be a banner year for you - congrats lady, you've earned it!!!

Lori and I are sisters that were born to seperate mothers. We are so much alike. Like we tell people, if you have met one of us, you have met the other. Neither of us has birth sisters, we have decided god didn't think one mom could handle both of us...lol.
But ya, she is my best friend, and I met her because of this board and this surgrey.
