Who exercised?

Fantabulous post LisaJoy!  Have been keeping up with post-thigh lift exercises and walking until extenuating cir****tances ease. Did buy the Wii Fit last month so that replaces the former Pilates and Yoga Pilates chunks until the thrill wears off!   Am so motivated simply by wearing size four skinny jeans....so fun and inspiring to just keep on a movin!'  I know I'm an odd duck--didn't go off the eating nor exersice plan over the holidays, so just pressing forward.  Happy New Year to all!  Hugs, Patti

Thanks for posting this Lisa Joy.  I have not been exercising like I should be.  I try to rationalize it that I am always on the move but know I need the structured approach.  Tonight I will work the weights as my starting point and work from there.  I have the oldies tunes to get movin to but haven't so this will be my commit to do it.  Maybe maintaining will be easier if I regulate my weight with exercise????????   Biggest Loser starts again on the 6th and I will pretend I'm working out with Jillian (my pouchies name).

Going Going Gone!!!!  I'll be checkin in tomorrow.

Thanks for the post LJ! Gets me back on track. I was doing great and since I have been off for the holidays I have been procrastinating. I think I will do one of my videos right now. Thanks for the push :)

I went to the gym twice over the weekend.  I try to get there 2-3 times a week and usually work out for 45-60 minutes.  It would really be pushing it for me to get there before work, and after work can be tough sometimes, too.  The trainers have given me some exercises I can do at home, so I try to do some of them on my non-gym days.  At the gym I usually do about 30 minutes of strength training    and then ride the bike for about two miles.  I'm backing off of the treadmill for awhile as it bothers my knee.

After about a month of doing nothing but work and schoolwork, I am back in the gym. This time though it is for real. I am actually perspiring a bit when I work out and have some sore muscles (nothing too bad). Before my excercising consisted of riding a stationary bike at a very slow pace in order to read my history book for school. Now I am excercising for the sheer joy of feeling my muscles working. What a wonderful feeling it is.

Now that my knees are both working (not perfect, but at least I can move!), I am starting to exercise.  Edi and I bought a Wii Fit (check the Wal-mart at Inver Grove Hgts) yesterday, and today was day 2 for me.  I think tomorrow my thighs will be thundering, but oh well, at least I was moving!  I'm starting with 20 minutes.  Remember, I'm older and stiffer, LOL

Hi Lisa
I came home from work with a headache. I was ready to just say forget it but I think that is what the devil wanted me to do. So I said screw you and went for it. I changed clothes and headed to the YMCA. Boy did that feel good! One hour on the treadmill at 3.0.

Can't wait for tomorrow morning!!
