Hair Loss
This was the worst thing about WLS. My hair started to fall out at about 8 months and finally stopped at about 11 months to 1 year. I had hands full of hair when I showered and hair falling everywhere. I even wore a stocking cap when I would cook for fear it would fall in the food YUK!!!! Never in my life have I had wimpy hair but that's what I have now. I had enough hair for 3 people when I started out and now have just enough for 1. My little sprouts are coming in but I think it will be about a year before the hair is back to normal. I did cut my hair short because it looked to frizzy and gross. Getting better everyday so hang in there.....this too will pass. I had gallbladder surgery and WLS all within 3 months so that may have made mine worse.
