Food Thread

I made a committment a while back to this board that once I was post-op, I would start a food/fitness thread.

The purpose of the thread is so that you can post what you ate on a given day and/or fitness you did that same day. You do not have to be a "member" to participate. It's just a thread to allow you to post for accountability more than anything.

What I find with these threads is that it also allows you to see more menu selections from others. Sometimes it's easy to get stuck in the same rut of eating if it's working for you, so this may be beneficial to some.

The rules are that you only post what you ate and the fitness you did (if any) and if you have a question directly related, ask. If it's off topic, post separately. There is to be no negative commenting on someone's post because everyone is at a different stage post-op. If you disagree with someone's food choices or activity choices, the respectful thing is to send them a PM.

It really is a beneficial thread overall! Are you board? If so, I'll start it on 1/1.

Oh please do start it! I will definitely post to it. And you're right, it will be helpful to see what others are eating. So easy to get stuck in ruts food-wise. I'm only a month out but I really only have like 3 meals I rotate at the moment.

Thank you so much for taking this on! I think it will be a great tool/help for many!

Fitness is not about age or a size -- it's really about an attitude and life style!!!
