Curious what people's New Year's resolution is this year.  Mine is to begin training for a 5K and start running one a month (during the non-cold months) and maybe build up to a half marathon by the end of the year. Baby steps for this 52 year old -- no injuries please!!!

I'm also going to continue last year's resolution to eat the healthy way and not "buck the system" so I can continue to be blessed by all the things WLS has let me gain!!!  No carb monster, no 5DPT and no LD's.  Just healthy WLS program eating.

I also need to work on being on time for things.  I'm continually late.....

Let everyone know your plans......

Hey Barb, Love the new picture of you and the hubby! I have been thinking of this for a few weeks now as to what my 2009 resolutions will be! So here I will now finalize the list. Oh dear!!

1. Spend more time with God

2. Spend more hours advocating for kids with special needs

3. Excercise at least 5xs a week!

4. Continue to make good Eating choices

5. Be a better wife, mother, and friend

I think I could go on forever but those are my top 5 that are the most important to me.

Wishing you a wonderful 2009! Happy New Year!

Way to go on the 5Ks!!

God Bless, Angela

Find a new job!  I *am* grateful to have a job, especially in this economy, but I am miserable at work and life is too short.

To help people who are looking into revisional bariatric surgery

To meet new people....especially WLS peeps.  I don't know enough in real life.  social anxiety sucks.

Thanks for this post Barb!    It feels good to write it out!
1.  Be true to WLS and follow the plan as I knew/know from the start.   I need to and love to hang with my WLS friends, which also helps me stay accountable!   (Thanks for that!)
2.  Continue to learn to manage my money in the best way possible!   (Learning to spend in a healthy way.......ex:  A normal amount of latte's in a week.   Clothes can be an issue too.)
3.  Arrive atleast 5 minutes early to everything.  I am always late and have that reputation.  I hate that!

Many more things with my career as a teacher and as a mom, wife, step-mom, daughter, friend.   :O)
