My winter jacket that I had been wearing is a 3XL. 3XL was a nice change from the historic 6XL I used to wear. Well the 3XL was too big to be comfortable but it was pretty much my only winter jacket so I would wear a couple of sweatshirts to make it work. Today I went to find a new jacket. I assumed that 2XL would be what I would look for. I had a big sweatshirt on as I tried on jackets. Well the 2XLs were kinda big. Wow I thought, that just doesn't seem right. So I started trying on XL. I haven't fit in an XL for longer than I can remember (which isn't all that significant). Well the XLs fit even over my sweatshirt. I tried about 6 completely different brands since sometimes that makes a difference. Then I saw a jacket I really liked but the only sizes were Large and Medium. No XL. Well just for yucks I tried on the L and it totally FIT, zipper, sweatshirt and all.
That also means that MEDIUM is the next size down. Cannot believe it.
