Got plans for Saturday evening? (OT)

If not, and you get a wild hair, there will be several of u****ting the tubing hill at Elm Creek Park Reserve!!! 

Well, okay, so it's just TWO of us so far, plus my chilluns and their tag-alongs...  But it's FUN!!!  And you don't have to be talented or graceful or coordinated (is it any WONDER I love tubing???)  Cost is $12 per person, $10 if you purchase 6 passes or more.  There's a beautiful chalet with food service and beverages (and yes, a coffee bar!!).  We're going @ 6:30 or 7pm - hope to see some familiar faces there!!

Sounds fun!  We have been talking about going to Powder Ridge but maybe we will head that way- Is it in Maple Plain, I have been to Baker Park before....

No, Elm Creek is up in the Maple Grove / Osseo area - west of 85th on Co Rd 81...

Sounds like a great time..but my increasingly bonier butt is going to be sitting on bleachers in Fargo all weekend. Yup--wrestling !


Have a great time..it was so nice to be able to read your post and think to myself " I can do that" Last year I wouldn't have even considered it! Life is sooo much easier almost 100 pounds lighter, that's for dang sure!

Damn. Can't go Sat. evening - I work. But maybe some other day... I gotta bring my mom. I've been enjoying skiing as of late -- what a blast! :) 

Bummer!  I won't be able to make it...$$ is still very tight!  Can't wait to start working again on Monday!  Hope to be able to catch the next outing as this is on my 'to do' list for this winter!
