I'm new here
Welcome "I'm new here!!!!! LOL
This is a great place(heck they adopted me from ND!) to come to with questions and getting support.
All of us that have had the surgery have been in your same shoesas are others who are waiting on their turn for surgery. It will get better as time travels on.
I wish you the best

Welcome to the MN Board!! Like others have said this is a GREAT place!! You are doing the right thing by coming here pre-op. Everyone here is at a different place in their journey and happy to support you through yours. If you can, come to the coffees on Saturday mornings- it is a great group of people who can help you get through the jitters!
Hope to meet you soon!

WELCOME!!!
Starting here months pre-op is a great move on your part - more time to ask questions, surf profiles and find inspiration to keep on! It is a scary thing, no doubt. But in my opinion, for most people *****ach to point of seriously considering this surgery, it is the RIGHT thing.
If you can start practicing some of the things you'll be required to do post-op NOW, you'll be setting yourself up for success! Give up pop. Start chewing your food to smithereens. Stop drinking 30 minutes before you eat, and don't drink for at least 30 minutes after you're done eating. All that good stuff. If you start doing these things now when it isn't essential, it'll make your transition post-op that much easier!
CONGRATS on your decision, and don't be a stranger!!
