Am trying to decide....

I see Fleetwood Mac is coming to Xcel in March.  I'm debating whether or not to go. I should be 30lbs less by then- About 265. (I hope) But I'm not confident that will be enough so that I'll be comfortable in the seats.  (Or standing for a long period of time)   I'd really like to go w/ DH, but don't want to get there and wish I was home.

Go for it!  You only live once and NOW you are livin' better than ever!   You'll dance the night away and it will be a wonderful memory for you and your hubs!  Don't even think about that it may not work.  Just go and see how much better it is at that time.  It will be!     Turn that attitude around and upside down!   :O)   Big huggies and smiles!

You might even be less by then!  You should go no matter what!  This is exactly why you had this, so you could enjoy life and have the anxiety of excess weight has cost you in missed lifetime experiences be gone.

Go and have fun!

Kristy just do it!!! You will never know unless you try! I think you will be fine in those seats!

I have an example for you! This summer at Valleyfair I played this mind game with myself on what rides will I fit in and which ones will I not.  Well, there was one ride that looked way to small for my big behind so I always passed it up. Then towards the end of the year when it was less busy I decided oh I will just try it who cares if I get embrassed there are hardly any people here. Well, I got on the ride and loved it. But, the whole time I was wondering why did I wait so long to get on here there is plenty of room!! I wasted most of the summer not going on this one ride.

Life is to short enjoy it while you can!!
God Bless, Angela

Angela, I just HAVE to ask - which ride are you referring to?  You were there to see me conquer that b*tch, "Monster"!  If you could have seen the pits I dug into my palms with my fingernails waiting to see if I fit on that sucker....  YAY YOU!

Hi Kristy!

March is a little ways away...I have a feeling you will be thinking different by then.  Go for it and have some fun and alone time with your husband.  With a little one that can be hard to do, so take advantage of it whenever you can!!!

Oh honey - GO!!!
I weighed closer to 285 when I went to Bon Jovi in '08 @ the Xcel and I did not feel too squished - we mostly stood and sang our hearts out though. LOL
You'll be fine & you will have a great time - and you & your DH deserve the date night!!!

GO FOR IT!!!!!  It is amazing how good it feels to go to some of these places and feel comfy.  I did a Twin's game at the dome about 6 weeks post-op and was so happy that I went!  It isn't often that great groups like that come, so take the night and go enjoy it!!
