What to eat for REALLY unsettled stomach?
DH was puking out BOTH ends from 10pm last night until I left for work at 530 this morning. I really hope I don't get what he has, but I've already been in the bathroom once with a vomit false alarm. (not food related) My stomach is feeling really unsettled. I'm on the pureed food stage, but I just think a little toast or a few crackers would help. Think that's ok, or what else can I have that would be good?

I personally would have tried it, very carefully, but I was not exposed to "the crud" so soon after WLS. I would suggest you call your bariatric nurse/doctor for their blessings, not ask here.
I HOPE you don't get it. It's making it's SECOND ROUND at my house, and so far I've managed to stay healthy!

Imperfect does not = unsuccessful
Sorry that I have no advice for you, Kristy, although my mom's secret family 'recipe' for the 'runs' was to make ginger tea by dissolving 1/4 tsp of ground ginger into a cup of very ho****er and adding sweetener to taste. Guaranteed to stop the ****s!! My MIL got the flu when she and I took Quin to Toronto for open heart surgry in Dec 1990. She made the ginger tea--and didn't poop for 3 DAYS! She SWEARS by this old-wives' tale remedy!
Hope you don't get the 'crud'!!
Am keeping an eye on your weight thingy--and you're doing terrifically, GF!

LOL it is all in the ginger root. Our family still to this day does ginger ale. Can't stand the stuff any other time. Older family says it is the ginger root. Who knows. got to believe the elder LOL

I'm with Tink - our family uses Ginger Ale for this purpose too. But being so newly post op, I'd let it get really flat before you start sipping on it.
Also, saltines come in a mini size now (about the size of a Cheez-It) and they mush down pretty good. If your surgeon is okay with it, I'd pop a few of those.
Watch yourself for dehydration also!!! Can sneak up very quickly on newly post ops!!!
