Long time no talk!!! How is Everyone?

Hey ladies and gents!!!
I hope everyone had a stellar holiday season and that you all got just what you wanted. I got moved back to KS a few days before Xmas and we're finally all settled in. The kids go back to school next Monday and they're all pretty excited. Me too LOL.
Things with me have been going really really well. I'm 9 lbs from goal, in a size 6 that I'm having to hike up everytime I stand back up from sitting, and a small/medium shirt.. WOW what a ride this has been!!! But the most amazing thing is feeling so great, not just with all the things I can do, but my self-esteem is off the charts amazing. Things have been going wonderfully with Clay, even more so now that I actually get to see him on a daily basis instead of just every couple of months. I just can't even describe how happy I finally am for the first time in AGES. It's the most wonderful thing to know he gets where I've come from, what I've been through to get to the point I'm at now, and just treats me the same as he did when we were back in HS together. My only sadness was that between the move, and work and then the crappy MN weather we were getting before I moved I didn't get to see any of you to say goodbye. I'm planning to be back sometime in late Feb or early March to check in with the office and my client, so I'll be back in the cities a couple times a year. I'm going to try to get my butt back into the habit of checking in with the board more often again, just so I don't lose touch with all of you wonderful folks. So now you know what I've been up to and where I'm at... how the heck are all of you???

awww.... sweet Lisa, I can't believe you moved so far away!  I know you'll be happier there, but DO call when you know you'll be around, k?  We'll get a big 'ol coffee get together together!!

My sweet Angel and friend, can I just admire you for a moment??? WOW!! You look amazing missy! What a fantastic job you have done with your WLS and you are such an inspiration, my friend. I believe I will be happier, I know the two weeks I've been here I've just felt indescribable, the sense of coming home, home to my "people" home to my family and my roots. I left here trying to run from a painful past and it just followed me to MN... coming home feels like coming full circle and like embracing freedom if that makes any sense... Bon Jovi said it best... who says you can't go home. No truer words. I've found... or re-found rather my best friend and true confidant. The one that truely completes my very being and seems to complete my family. I never expected to find such happines or such peace in my life, but finally I have and I'm holding onto it with both hands. I think of you and so many of the others daily and I will most certainly let you know ahead of time when I hit the cities... we'll most deffinatly have a big ole coffee.. or perhaps whoop it up at some karoke??? LOL
