I just got home from the hospital yesterday.  (RNY 12/30/08)  But I managed to go to Target and walk for at least 40min.  I was tired when I got home, but feel good for getting out and walking.
Anything can be mine in 2009!!!!

I went to the gym for the first time. It was so hard getting myself to go. But I did it!
I tried the Cybex but it was beyond me at this point. So I did 20 minutes on the recumbent bike. It felt so good, I did another 10 minutes!

It was hard because i was definitely the fattest person there but I just kept reminding myself of my goal and turned up the tunes.

I did cry once I was in the car because I think I stressed myself out worrying so much but next time will be easier by far!

Hey Anna!! I feel the same way!! I just look at the hot bods and think to myself...in a year I will be there! I can do it!! I use it to move!! Are we still on for Tuesday morning??

yup-
I did some walking today at work.  bought myself a nifty pedometer for xmas, so now I  have no excuse to not use it.  I didn't do alot-I am cautious not to over-do the first day-but I did take the stairs, park out on the end of the ramp, and go for a 15 minute swing through the hospital.  I need to do more-only logged about 7000 steps for today, but it's a start.

I did!  I did!  I went to the gym after work and did 30 minutes of strength training and about 1-1/2 miles on the bike.

I did!! I did 30 mins on the treadmill and 15 on the eliptical!!
